Description
Located in the idyllic village of Bet Zayit, adjacent to Jerusalem, Ilana Shoket's Bed and Breakfast can accommodate up to eleven guests.
Each of the two self contained cottage apartments contains a double bed, fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom and a television set. Rooms overlook a charming garden patio, in which you can dine on a delicious breakfast and absorb Bet Zayit's tranquil country atmosphere. An added advantage: plenty of parking space in our farm!
Only 30 minutes ride from Ben Gurion Airport, and a mere seven kilometers from Jerusalem, pastoral Bet Zayit is the perfect venue from which to begin and end your tour in Israel. Ideal for nature lovers and tourists who wish to avoid lodge amidst the city's noisy downtown area and its congested neighborhoods.
Prices
$55 for a double room and $15 for additional child or guest.
$6 for an Israeli breakfast. (At the end of the summer you can enjoy figs and sabra fruit fresh from our garden!)
Prices may be 5% higher at high season (July through August and during Jewish holidays).
Discount available for long term renters.

Bet Zayit and Surroundings
Bet Zayit is closer to Jerusalem than any other village. From Bet Zayit you have easy access to Jeruslem, Ein Kerem, and to Abu Ghosh, the arab village known for its humus and fish restaurants:
- Jerusalem Old City and downtown - 15 minutes ride.
- Jerusalem neighborhoods such as enchanting Ein Kerem - 30 minutes walk through the hills or 20 minutes ride.
- theaters, world famous museums - 20 minutes ride.
- Abu Ghosh, a picturesque Arab village famous for its tasty humus and excellent fish restaurants - seven minutes ride.
- Bethlehem - 25 minutes ride.
- Jericho and The Dead Sea - 1 hour ride.
- Tiberias and the Lake of Galilee - 2.5 hours ride.
- Eilat - 4 hours ride.

what you will find inside the units:
Kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, electric kettle, gas range, toaster oven and microwave oven. One apartment is air-conditioned; the other is cooled by fans. There is central heating in Winter. If you do not have a cellular phone, you can call from the public phone booth that is available nearby.
Transportation: Cars: free parking right next to your lodgings!
Taxi cabs available 24 hours a day.
Buses: the #186 bus to and from the central bus station in Jerusalem runs every two hours on weekdays (there is no bus transportation on the Shabbat - Friday evening to Saturday evening).
Shopping: You can purchase foods at the local mini-market and make your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
